Suthida THEEPEARAKSAPAN holds B.Eng. (Second Class Honors) in Environmental Engineering (Kasetsart University), Bangkok, Thailand. In 2008 she was granted a full scholarship to study at the Center of Excellence on Hazardous Substance Management, Chulalongkorn University. After the completion of her M.S. in Environmental Management, Suthida was an assistant researcher at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Kasetsart University till 2011. And in the same year, she was granted the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for PhD program at University of Tokyo, Japan. She received her Ph.D. in urban engineering from UT Japan in 2014. Then, she joined the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Srinakharinwirot University, as a Lecturer.

Her main research interests include high strength wastewater treatment technologies, advanced oxidation processes, application of plasma gasification technology in wastewater treatment processes. Recent research projects focus on waste management in Srinakharinwirot University (Ongkaruk), plasma gasification post-treatment of MBR effluent from landfill leachate, Optimization of the biogas production parameters in two-stage anaerobic digester process.

Outside of academia, she has acted as a consultant for both the private and public sectors in urban design (public utility, and public assistance) and environmental management fields.
