2.4 Research Statement

This research focuses on evaluating water quality and analytically identifying carcinogenic substances or disinfection by-products in both tap and surface water. It further examines the characteristics and efficacy of adsorbent materials capable of eliminating such pollutants, focusing on the creation of adsorbents with distinct functional attributes, superior removal efficiency, and ecological sustainability. Furthermore, the study investigates the elements affecting the adsorption mechanism and the efficacy of water purification. The results aim to provide a basis for the creation of suitable water treatment technologies that are both efficient and cost-effective, while encouraging the use of research-derived information and results to aid local people and society. This study aims to enhance water quality and elevate public health in a sustainable manner.
